Oricon recently released the results of a survey which asked 20,000 individual music fans "Who is your favorite artist?" The rankings were further broken down by age groups; 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49.

*2. Spitz - jumping up from #8
*3. Mr. Children - for 2 years straight
*4. Utada Hikaru - dropping from #2 last year
*5. Dreams Come True - up from #11 and right into the middle of the Top 10
*6. B'z - down one spot
*7. Koda Kumi - new to the charts
*8. Porno Grafitti - falling down 4 spots
*9. BoA - down 3 from #6
10. Remioromen - new to the charts, as well
