Its good to know that our beloved has such a dedicated following world-wide ^.^
I, on the other hand, do not. So here is a little about me: Name: Ayanda Nickname: Yandi, Aya Age: 19 Ethnicity: Zimbabwean Location: United States First Utada Song You Ever Heard: "Hikari" I was harvesting Jpop on a Saturday afternoon and I heard Utada's loveliness for the first time. I was pleased :) Favorite Utada Song: Good question...my favorites are Parody, Sunglass, Passion, Deep River *tears of joy*, and Letters...and many others (Colors FTW!) Favorite Utada Video: Hikari... so simple and clean Favorite Utada Album/Single: Ultra Blue. It is one of few albums I've been able to listen to on loop...for 6 hours... Favorite Live Performance: Unplugged = Divinity Favorite Utada Trait: Hikki is down to Earth. She's original... a pioneer. She had the guts to release not 1, but 2 English titles in the States and continues to rock everyone's socks in Japan and around the world. If You Met Utada...: I would challenge her to a Tetris duel, promptly get smoked, and then go out for icecream. An Interesting Fact About You and Your 'Fannism' to Utada: Like a lot of other excessive Americans ^.^;;, I have a strong sound system in my car. But I'm not blasting southern rap...hell no. I'm rocking out to Utada. People on the streets love the rhythmic basslines and tend to do a little head-bobbing at the traffic lights. Utada, you are infectious :) Any Other Jpop Artists/Bands You Like?: Ayumi Hamasaki, Romantic Mode/Asakura Akira, Ken Hirai <3<3<3<3<3<3<3, Ami Suzuki, Namie Amuro, Kick the Can Crew I'm going to be a sophomore this coming fall at a medium-size university in Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Geographic Information Systems and minoring in Asian Studies, Pan-African Studies, and Computer Science. There has been a push for more international features on the university-sponsored raidio station here on campus, so perhaps I might have an opportunity to host a show. I'll keep everyone informed about that and see what happens in the coming months XD Take care |
