yaaaa i agree with everyone too
For me i use a variety of shapes to figure out proportions and in general where things go, especially the rule of how many heads a person is. Realistic portraits are one of the hard keys, i mean at my school we have a class specifically on heads and hands since those area's are one of the most difficult and detailed area. Like just the angle how the eye slopes, the bridge of the nose, the length of the lips, etc can give the person a unique look. Bodies are hard, its a matter of practicing sooo many times and learning how relevant certain body parts to another i.e. the length of the arm compare to the legs, etc. Even for me after taking figure drawing, intermediate figure drawing, anatomy, i still have more to go. So in a sense its by observing and making the corrections and practically draw it will you feel the difference. Like trust me last year when i look at my human drawings i cringe at the fact how BAD it was ;A; |
