Lots of tranfer news going about.
Sandro Roselli is keen on signing Cesc Fabregas before the start of the La Liga campaign as it is reported that Barcelona are preparing one final offer for the Spanish midfielder. ?40 million set to be offered to Arsenal. Real Madrid going about as usual to bolster the squad as they are linked with players as, Sami Khedira, Mesut ?zil, and latest in, Manchester United star Nemanja Vidic. Royston Drenthe is the only player linked out of Madrid at the moment. Juventus pursuing Uruguay international Diego Forlan after his 5 goal performance in the World Cup. But Forlan stated that he likes Atletico Madrid and is not prepared to leave until his contract expires in two years. Also, after New York's signing of Thierry Henry, Real Salt Lake owner Dave Checketts reports another BIG star is headed to the states. Someone the whole world knows. Not Real Salt Lake, but he has hinted the LA Galaxy have plans. Could this be rumor going around about David Beckham wanting Ronaldinho to join him in America? AC Milan ensured that Ronny is not going anywhere and has to re-negotiated with him for a new long term deal until 2013, but as nothinghas been finalised for the time being, Ronaldinho's brother and agent, Roberto de Assis said that he will be listening to offers and has confirmed that he has spoken to higher-ups in the MLS regarding a possible transfer. And England. The FA has released the 'Capello Index' on to the Internet. A point system rating the English players in the World Cup. Robert Green receiving the lowest rating of 51 and Jermaine Defoe brining in the highest, but at a meer 61. An angry Capello has demanded the system be taken down immediately as he never approved of anything like that. The FA are indeed discussing his future as manager and also expressed they want their next manager to be English. Sir Alex had been offered numerous times, but he enjoys Manchester and feels at a great handicap being Scottish. |
