Hello Phillipa (I hope that I didn't insert an L too many). You seem to be an intelligent and verbose new member of this community. I appreciate that.
It's an amusing story about the policemen - I confess that I'm very short (163 cm) but I have no qualms with you tall folk, butfortheinnateresentmentthatallshortpeoplecarry; you're fine. I love the very thought of lit police helmets. Welcome to the community. It seems as though your father was one of the earlier people to catch onto Yellow Fever - Asian women seem to be all the rage these days. Take some time to learn native Japanese - I'm sure that your mother would be happy to assist. Perhaps you can speak ONLY Japanese to her from now on? It's just a suggestion. I still feel sore that I had lost my ability to be literate in Chinese. I hope that one day I will be able to pick it up again. It was a great (and yet odd) story about your Utada Hikaru themed birthday sponsored by Q. I had no idea Q was such a nice person - I look forward to more of your posts, Phillipa - you and your crazy and alien Briton vernacular, such as the preference of spelling, 'connexion' and the (proper) spelling of 'aluminium', as well as strange local terms such as 'the loo' instead of 'the John'. I also hold in great anticipation a healthy serving of mind-bending slang from the UK. Please do not dissapoint. Onegai-shimasu. Sakurablooms, I rabu-rabu BLUE, too. OMG, that and "Making Love" are such -awesome- tracks from ULTRA BLUE. But I honestly don't like the slower tempo songs from that album. I think that Wings, Kairo, and Be My Last suck. |
