I did a topic on Genki Rockets ages ago. Anyways, their not really a 'band' in reality or even a band at all. Besides those who compose the music, Genki Rockets really consist of Lumi, a fictional girl Lumi's voice is synthesized with voices from several different females. Genki Rockets actually performed live previously, at Live Earth, Lumi appeared as an hologram. I don't know about any recent information regarding Genki Rockets.

For the music itself, the songs are often insanely catchy and the videos are absolutely amazing and colorful. (But every time I watch the PV of "Heavenly Star", I have the urge to watch a-ha's "Take on Me".) I think Star Line/Smile single was a step-down from their first. But their album is really good, check it out if you haven't.
