3/01 Update:
459 Spins (182 @ Pop; 277 @ Rhythmic) 1.014 Milion Audience Impressions New Station Tested the Song: WIOQ (Pop) "Q" 102 FM Philadelphia, PA www.q102.com MediaBase Request Form 215-263-1021 800-521-1021 Toll-Free Text: q1021 Again, Philly is the 7th biggest market in the nation. This city's rhythmic station, WRDW has already been supporting the song and has given it 150,000 impressions in the past week! It is crucial that WIOQ gets behind it as well. Unlike most stations, Q102 has a toll-free 800# to accomodate out-of-state area codes, so even Hikki fans outside of the area can call in and request! However DO NOT ABUSE THIS. Annoying the DJs and station employees is still something we want to avoid at all costs. Here's a few tips if you're going to call-in to an 800# out of the station's area (actually, most of these aren't bad ideas even if you're IN the area, lol): - It's probably best to limit calls to one a day - If they pick up, simply ask if they have a new song called "Come Back to Me" by Utada (WIOQ's only played it once so far, not every DJ may know about it), even if they say no, simply thank them and try again later. Don't complain or drag things out! - LISTEN to the station before you call. WIOQ's website has a link to where you can listen to the station online. Pay attention because you don't want to interrupt a contest or talk show that may be going on. - If you're not in the area NEVER call attention to that fact! I know this all sounds strict but this is a kind of delicate situation and we all want to make sure we help and not hurt the song and Utada. Have fun requesting at this and all stations! |
