I think Angela Aki is very unique. She has a very interesting background. Italian-Japanese. Attended high school in Hawaii then went to D.C. for college. So she is bilingual. She puts a lot of passion into her songs and performance. I've listened to her but not as much.
I also listen to some stuff from Aoyama Thelma, Misia & Ito Yuna. If you want to check them out. |
