After the single, she's taking a break with music

Japanese singer MEG has announced through her blog that she will be taking a break from making music.
Before her leave, she will release a BEST album and move on from her record label, Universal Music Group.

On the 30th, MEG says she has been thinking of traveling alone to Paris for a year now.

This upcoming year also happens to mark her 10th year in the music industry. Now, Meg wants to challenge a new field.

Her latest album "Maverick" hit stores June 23, 2010, and the release of her final single for awhile, "PARIS/PASSPORT", is August 25th.

She will be holding a birthday part in Tokyo Sanrio Puroland on the following dates:
Saturday October 2, 2010
Sunday October 3, 2010 (her birthday)

Ticket reservations started on the nineteenth of June with preference given to members of her fan club; the tickets range in price from 4000 to 30,000 yen.
