That's definitely not the reason. Only 4 of those categories are specifically for 2009. She was as active as any other American artist would be in America in 2009 (and in 2008 she was quite active for promotions of HEART STATION album & single and Prisoner of Love). Then at the end, she had a mega successful tour.

And as for there being many kpop artists on the lists, let's not forget that jpopasia is for jpop, kpop, and cpop.
