I am safe and well but of course, completely heartbroken over what has happened in Japan..Luckily my husband and I were in America attending a wedding when the earthquake hit so we missed this whole catastrophe by a few days..However, we were just informed yesterday that we cannot return to Japan as our exchange program at Waseda University has been terminated in light of these events... CSU tells its students to leave Japan UC, Oregon State and Stanford have also recalled their students home... I am frantically trying to find a way to get all my stuff from my Tokyo apartment..These are sad times but I am just thankful that my friends and their families are all alright... |
