Huge news!!

Island Records has released a press release for UTADA. It states that Utada's debut Album is titled, EXODUS, and is confirmed, once again, to be out Fall 2004.

Other song titles mentioned are:
"Kremlin Dusk" with drummer Jon Theodore from Mars Volta
"Exodus '04", "Wonder 'Bout", and "Let Me Give You My Love" produced with Timbaland

It is also stated that the "young star composes, writes and arranges all her songs, infusing her music with seductive, witty lyrics and well-crafted melodies."

Well, we already knew that she composes, writes, and arranges all her songs but their description tells us that her US material will definately not be anything like her Japanese material.

Big News! ...
...the long long wait seems close to being over...

An announcement on Utada.com and Utada.jp (as well as press releases from IslandDefJam and Toshiba-EMI) says that the song "By My Side" by Utada ft. Timbaland & Keily Dean will be featured on the Official 2004 Athens Olympics Album, titled "Unity".

This is the first time a annoucement has been made regarding any work to be released for the UtADA debut... A long awaited announcement by many Hikki fans
